听力做题练习篇:1预测技巧1).对话预测:在听对话,尤其是PartA——ShortConversation时,注意混淆信息。(1)Whattimeisitnow?(2)Whatisthewoman’sopinionaboutthecourse?(3)Whatdoesthewomanthinkoftheweather?2).语篇预测在PartB,LongerConversation的听力过程中,按下列问题展开预测:(1)Whatisthetopicofthepassage?(2)Whoisthespeaker?(3)Whatfactsdidthespeakeroffer?(4)Whatfactsdidthespeakerfailtooffer?3).依靠开篇句预测:英语听力的第一句话通常会透露整篇的主题,所以要善于抓住听力材料的首句信息。例如:Americanshaveapopularsaying“Timeismoney。”从这一句开篇句我们可以预测的信息范围:(1)这是一篇关于时间的话题。(2)涉及的对象是美国人。例如:Lookatthispicture.ItistheLondonTeaTradeCentre.Asyoucansee,itisonthenorthbankoftheRiverThames.从这几句开篇句我们可以预测的信息范围:_________________________________2识别关键词的技巧1).透露说话人身份的关键词如果可以通过关键词很快判断对话者的关系和身份,将有助于有目的地集中注意力,并在脑海中搜索相关背景知识,进一步加深对听力材料的理解。例如:Ijustcan’tbelieveyouareapoliceofficer,Kay.Irememberinhighschool,youalwayswantedtobealawyer.如果意识到该对话中的关键词为inhighschool,那么他马上可以意识到这是两个老同学之间的对话。又例如:Goodmorning,ladiesandgentlemen.WelcometoUniversalStudio.I’dliketoguideyouallthewayintheamazingparkandsharethewonderfulmomentswithyou.这段话的关键词是guide,park,从中可以推断说话人是导游。2).透露地点/场合的关键词如果善于捕捉听力材料中的关于地点或场合(即语言环境)的关键词,也有助于他们判断听力材料的主题、说话人之间关系等等。如果对话中出现specialprice,那么对话很可能发生在商店;treatment,headache,takeatemperature等词可以透露出医患关系。3).捕捉数字许多听力材料中涉及数字,例如年代、日期、价格、数量等等,并且会以基数词、序数词、分数、小数、百分比等形式出现,这就要求辨别各种形式的数字,还要熟悉数字之间的关系。例如:减价:20%off(八折),specialoffer,specialprice,25%discount(7.5折),onsales原价:regularprice,normalprice,originalprice增长:10%increasein…1/3climbin……下降:23%fallin…5.5%decreasein…3听力速记技巧:培养一定的速记技巧,有助于保持部分听力内容,帮助记忆。1).运用速记符号例如:↑up,↓down,←left,→right,=equal2).发明并运用字母的缩写形式:可以在平时训练时,本着便于记忆、快速、容易联想的原则,发明一些只需自己明白的字母搭配来表示相应的信息。例如:Ex——expensive,lg——large,eq——earthquake,ys——yesterday通过运用这些字母和符号,帮助储存信息,帮助回忆。P.S.:英语听力常用词汇(1)老师或学校工作人员和学生类常用的单词和短语:teacher,student,oral/writtenexam,test,quiz,mark,grade,score,term,semester,exam,pass,fail,subject,termpaper,homework,scholarship(奖学金),campus(校园),credit(学分),dormitory(宿舍),library,overdue(过期的),renew(续借),etc.____________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________(2)医生和病人类常用的单词和短语:doctor,surgeon,dentist,physician,patient,fever,cold,cough,headache,injection(注射),prescription(药方、处方),asorethroat(喉咙痛),pill,tablet,ward(病房),operation,X-ray,emergency,etc.____________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________(3)顾客与营业员类常用的单词和短语:shopassistant,salesgirl,saleswoman,customer,shopper,sale,reduction(减价),bargain,fashion,receipt,cashier(出纳),department,store,supermarket,bycreditcard,incash,etc.____________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________(4)邮局职员和顾客类常用的单词和短语:postman,postcard,telegram,zipcode(邮政编码),postage,regularletter,deliver,specialdelivery(限时专送),registeredletter(挂号信),parcel,mail,post,sort,mailbox,etc.____________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________(5)银行职员和顾客类常用的单词和短语:client(委托人、顾客),teller「(银行)出纳员)」,deposit(存款),withdraw(取款),loan(贷款),currency(货币),interest(利息),creditcard(信用卡),cashacheck(把支票兑换成现金),openanaccount(开户),etc.____________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________(6)餐厅服务员和顾客类常用的单词和词组有:waiter/waitress,steak,ham,salad,soup,coffee,juice,hamburger,change(零钱),buffet(自助餐),bar,cafeteria(自助餐厅),order,payabill,forsale,onsale,marketprice,discount,order,tip,shop-assistant,sellingseason,oneprice,shoppinghour,etc.____________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________(7)机场工作人员和顾客类常用的单词和短语:stewardess,reservation,passport,thecustoms,visa,boardingcard(登机牌),ticket,confirmone'sflight(确认航班),checkin,safetybelt,articles,entryvisa,transitpassenger,etc.______________________________________________________________________________(8)酒店工作人员和顾客类常用的单词和短语:receptiondesk(旅馆的接待处),laundry(洗衣),reservearoom(预定房间),checkinatahotel(办理人住手续),checkout(结账离开),etc.____________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________(9)维修和顾客类常用的单词和短语:electrician,switch,radio,recorder,TVset,carpenter,repairman,airconditioner,heater(加热的人,加热器),washingmachine,refrigeratttor/fridge,fix,garage,etc.______________________________________________________________________________(10)律师客户类常用的单词和短语:lawsuit[诉论(案件)],agent(代理人,代理商),court,lawyer,highercourt,sue(控告,起诉),illegal,appealto,law,etc.______________________________________________________________________________(11)家庭成员类常用的单词和短语:niece,nephew,cousin,husband,father,mother,brother,sister,uncle,aunt,wife,etc.______________________________________________________________________________(12)警察和市民类常用的单词有:license,fine,police,speeding(超速行驶),trafficlight,ticket,etc.____________________________
