Unit9九年级Unit9SectionA1.Iprefermusicthathasgreatlyrics.prefer更喜欢,及物动词,后接名词、代词、动名词。Ipreferstayingathomeinsteadofgoingonapicnic.我更喜欢呆在家里而不是去野餐。【记住两个词组】:①preferdoing/sth.todoing/sth.比起…更喜欢…Ipreferstayingathometogoingonapicnic.比起去野餐我更喜欢呆在家里。HeprefersmathtoEnglish.比起英语他更喜欢数学。②prefertodoratherthando宁愿做…而不愿做…Iprefertostayathomeratherthangoonapicnic.我宁愿呆在家里也不愿去野餐。SectionA【ex】I’msleepy.Iprefer_____athometogoingoutforawalk.A.sleepingB.tosleepC.sleptD.sleepthat引导的定语从句:that既可指物又可指人,可在从句中做主语、表语或宾语。that做宾语时可以省略。Ihaveafriendsthatenjoyscooking.我有一个热爱烹饪的朋友。(that指人,作主语,=who)ThereareseveralmoviesthatIwanttowatch.有几部电影我想看一看。(指物,作宾语)【注意两点】①that前不能有介词,不能引导非限制性定语从句。Wearrivedthedaythat(=onwhich)theyleft.刚好我们到的那天他们走了。②that指物时可与which替换,但有几个例外:(只能用that而不能用which的情况)SectionAa.先行词是all,everything,nothing,something,anything,much,little,few等不定代词时。Haveyougotanythingthatbelongstome?你有没有拿过属于我的东西?b.先行词是序数词、形容词最高级或先行词被序数词或形容词最高级修饰时。Thefirst(thing)thatshouldbedoneistogetthebook.应该做的第一件事是弄到那本书。ThisisthebestplacethatI'veevervisited.这是我曾参观过的最好的地方。c.先行词被theonly,thevery等修饰时。Theonlythingthatshouldbedoneistofindourwayhome.唯一应该做的事情就是找到回家的路。d.人和物同时做先行词时(因为which只能指物,that既可指人也可指物)Theytalkedabouttheteachersandtheschoolsthattheyknew.他们谈到了他们熟悉的老师和学校。SectionAe.主句为特殊疑问句(以which,who开头的句子)时,为避免重复及混淆,不用which只用that。Whichisthecarthatkilledtheman?撞死那个男子的小车是哪一辆?SectionA*只能用which的情况:1.在介词后Thisisthehouseinwhichwelivedthreeyearsago.这是我们三年前住过的那所房子。2.引导非限制性定语从句(,which)Theproject,whichlastedfouryears,costonebilliondollars.这项工程历时四年,耗资十亿美元。【ex】ThepalaceMuseunisthebestplace____I’veevervisited.A.whoB.whenC.thatBeingblindissomething____mostpeoplecan’timagine.A.whoB.whatC.thatD.whomSectionA2.IlovemusicthatIcansingalongwith.alongwith伴随着=togetherwithIwillgototheparty.Wouldyouliketocomealongwithme?我要去参加聚会,你想和我一起去吗?Sheenjoysthesunshineafterthenoon,alongwithkittensandflowers.她享受着午后的阳光,有小猫和鲜花的陪伴。【注意】with/alongwith在句中为补充,并不充当成分,因此与主语连用时谓语动词的单复数仍与其前边的主语一致。Jimwithhisfriendsplayssoccertwiceaweek.(主语为Jim)吉姆和他的朋友们每周踢两次球。Linda’sparentsalongwithheraregoingtoShanghaiforaholiday.(主语为Linda’sparents)琳达和父母将去上海度假。SectionA3.Carmenlikesmusicianswhoplaydifferentkindsofmusic.who引导的定语从句,who只能指人。IwanttoknowthegirlwhoistalkingtoJim.我想认识那个正跟吉姆讲话的女孩。【ex】-Doyouknowtheman_____isstandingatthedoor?-Yes,Ido.He’safriendof_____.A.when;IB.who;mineC.that;meD.which;my-DoyouknowMoYan?-Ofcourse.Heisthefamouswriter______wontheNobelPrizein2012.A.whoB.whomC.whichSectionA4.Australianadj.澳大利亚(人)的;n.澳大利亚人(pl.)AustraliansAustralia澳大利亚5.electronicadj.电子的,电子设备的electricityn.电力,电electronicmusic电子音乐~equipment电子设备~products电子产品SectionA6.IsupposeI’lljustlistentothisnewCDIbought.supposev.推断,料想Isuppose/guess/think(that)+宾语从句besupposedtodosth.应该/被期望做某事YouaresupposedtopaymoreattentiontolearningEnglish.你应该更加重视学英语。SectionA7.smooth①悦耳的②平滑的smoothmusic悦耳的音乐Thecreamcankeepyourskinsmooth.这个面霜可以使你的肌肤保持光滑。Thesurfaceoftheiceissosmooth.冰块的表面很平滑。SectionA8.spare①adj.空闲的,不用的②v.抽出,留出①形容词,空闲的不用的Wehavenospareroomsrightnow.现在我们没有多余的房间。inone’sspare/freetime在某人的空闲时间里Ilikereadinginmyspare/freetime.在业余时间我喜欢看书。②动词,抽出留出I’mafraidIcan’tsparetimetohelpyouwithyourEnglish.我恐怕抽不出时间来帮你学习英语。Canwesparemorepeopleforthework?我们能够留出更多人做这项工作吗?SectionA9.directorn.导演,部门负责人v.direct指导,导演ThisfilmisdirectedbyChinesedirectorChenKaige.这部电影由中国导演陈凯歌导演。【ex】Theaudiencecanenjoyyoung______(direct)filmsfromdifferentcountries.SectionA10.inthatcase既然那样,如果那样的话。表示一种假设关系casen.情况,实情Inthatcase,youmusttalkwithyourteacher.如果那样的话,你必须和你的老师谈一谈。SectionA11.Whilesomepeoplesticktoonlyonkindofmovie,IliketowatchdifferentkindsdependingonhowIfeelthatday.stickto+sth./doing坚持,固守stick:①动词,粘贴,将…刺入(stick-stuck-stuck)Don’tstickthechopsticksintotherice.不要把筷子插进米饭里。Theystuckthenoticeonthewall.他们把通知贴在墙上。②名词,棍,棒,手杖Grandpastillwalkswithoutastickthroughheisninetyyearsold.尽管爷爷已经九十岁了他依然走路不拄拐杖。SectionAdependon依靠。依赖Wecannotdependonyourparentsforever.Weshoulddependonourselves.我们不能永远依靠我们的父母。我们应该依靠我们自己。dependon视…而定,取决于…Thetimeofholdingthesportsmeetingdependsontheweather.举行运动会的时间依天气而定。Goodgradesdependonwhetheryouarehard-workingatyourlessons.好的成绩取决于你是否努力学习你的功课。【ex】-Shallwegoforapicnictomorrow?-Well,itall_____theweather.A.belongstoB.happenstoC.dependsonD.concentratesonSectionA12.WhenI’mdownortired,Iprefermoviesthatcancheermeup.cheerup使高兴,使振奋后可接名词或代词,名词可放在cheer与up的中间或up之后,代词只能放在中间。WeallcheeredupwhenweheardLiNawonthegame.当我们听到李娜赢得比赛时,我们都欢呼了起来。TheEnglishteachertriedherbesttocheertheclassup.英语老师尽她的最大努力使班级振作起来。【ex】Hefailedinthemathtestandlookssad.Let’s_______.A.puthimupB.sethimupC.cheerhimupD.cleanhimupSectionA13.try/doone’sbesttodosth.尽某人最大的努力做某事I’lltrymybesttoimprovemyEnglish/makeprogress/cleanuptheroom/staybyyourside.我将尽我自己最大的努力提高我的英语/取得进步/打扫干净房间/陪在你们的身边。Weshouldtryourbesttochase/runafterourdreams,andnevergiveup.我们应该尽我们最大的努力追逐我们的梦想,永不言弃。【ex】Manychildrenareleftaloneinthecountryside.Let’stryourbest_____them.A.helpB.helpingC.tohelpD.helpsSectionA14.DocumentarieslikeMarchofthePenguinswhichprovideplentyofinformationabout
