______________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________ReportInformationfromProQuestApril03201521:13_______________________________________________________________03April2015ProQuest目录1.ABriefIntroductionofSkoposTheory..........................................................................................................1参考书目...........................................................................................................................................................903April2015iiProQuest第1个文档,共1个ABriefIntroductionofSkoposTheoryProQuest文档链接摘要:Therearemanytheoriesoftranslationstudy,amongwhich,Skopostheoryisanewbranchandcanexplainandinstructmanytranslationactivities.ThispaperputsforthsomebasicconceptsofSkopostheory,introducessomebasicrulesofit,andconcludesthemeritsandlimitationsofSkopostheory.[PUBLICATIONABSTRACT]链接:CALISe得文献获取,TALIS书目,UNICAT联合目录(刊名)全文文献:HeadnoteAbstract-Therearemanytheoriesoftranslationstudy,amongwhich,Skopostheoryisanewbranchandcanexplainandinstructmanytranslationactivities.ThispaperputsforthsomebasicconceptsofSkopostheory,introducessomebasicrulesofit,andconcludesthemeritsandlimitationsofSkopostheory.IndexTerms-Skopostheory,action,coherence,culture,adequacy,equivalenceI.ABRIEFHISTORYOFTRANSLATIONSTUDIESANDTHEDEFINITIONOFSKOPOSTHEORYA.ABriefHistoryofTranslationStudiesWritingsonthesubjectoftranslatinggofarbackinrecordedhistory.Thepracticeoftranslationwasdiscussedby,forexample,CiceroandHorace(firstcenturyBCE)andStJerome(fourthcenturyCE).InSt.Jerome'scase,hisapproachtotranslatingtheGreekSeptuagintBibleintoLatinwouldaffectlatertranslationsoftheScriptures.Indeed,thetranslationoftheBiblewastobe-forwelloverathousandyearsandespeciallyduringtheReformationinthesixteenthcentury-thebattlegroundofconflictingideologiesinWesternEurope.However,althoughthepracticeoftranslatingislongestablished,thestudyofthefielddevelopedintoanacademicdisciplineonlyinthesecondhalfofthetwentiethcentury.Beforethat,translationhadnormallybeenmerelyanelementoflanguagelearninginmodernlanguagecourses.Thegearingoftranslationtolanguageteachingandlearningmaypartlyexplainwhyacademiaconsideredittobeofsecondarystatus.Translationexerciseswereregardedasameansoflearninganewlanguageorofreadingaforeignlanguagetextuntilonehadthelinguisticabilitytoreadtheoriginal.Studyofaworkintranslationwasgenerallyfrownedupononcethestudenthadacquiredthenecessaryskillstoreadtheoriginal.Anotherareainwhichtranslationbecamethesubjectofresearchwascontrastiveanalysis.Thisisthestudyoftwolanguagesincontrastinanattempttoidentifygeneralandspecificdifferencesbetweenthem.ItdevelopedintoasystematicareaofresearchintheUSAfromthe1930sonwardsandcametotheforeinthe1960sand1970s.Translationsandtranslatedexamplesprovidedmuchofthedatainthesestudies.Thecontrastiveapproachheavilyinfluencedotherstudies,whichovertlystatedtheiraimofassistingtranslationresearch.Althoughuseful,contrastiveanalysisdoesnot,however,incorporatesocioculturalandpragmaticfactors,northeroleoftranslationasacommunicativeact.Nevertheless,thecontinuedapplicationofalinguisticapproachingeneral,andspecificlinguisticmodelssuchasgenerativegrammarorfunctionalgrammarhasdemonstratedaninherentandgutlinkwithtranslation.While,insomeuniversities,translationcontinuestobestudiedasamoduleonappliedlinguisticscourses,theevolvingfieldoftranslationstudiescanpointtoitsownsystematicmodelsthathaveincorporatedotherlinguisticmodelsanddevelopedthemforitsownpurposes.Atthesametime,theconstructionofthenewdisciplinehasinvolvedmovingawayfromconsideringtranslationasprimarilyconnectedtolanguageteachingandlearning.Instead,thenewfocusisthespecificstudyofwhathappensinandaroundtranslatingandtranslation.Themoresystematic,andmostlylinguistic-oriented,approachtothestudyoftranslationbegantoemergeinthe1950sand1960s.Thereareanumberofclassicexamples:03April2015Page1of9ProQuestJean-PaulVinayandJeanDarbelnet:Stylistiquecompareedufrancaisdel'anglais,acontrastiveapproachthatcategorizedwhattheysawhappeninginthepracticeoftranslationbetweenFrenchandEnglish;GeorgesMounin:Lesproblemestheoriquesdelatraduction,examinedlinguisticissuesoftranslation;EugeneNida:incorporatedelementsofChomsky'sthenfashionablegenerativegrammarasatheoreticalunderpinningofhisbooks,whichwereinitiallydesignedtobepracticalmanualsforBibletranslators.Thesemoresystematicandscientificapproachesinmanywaysbegantomarkouttheterritoryoftheacademicinvestigationoftranslation.ThewordsciencewasusedbyNidainthetitleofhis1964book(TowardaScienceofTranslating,1964a,citedinMunday2001).Atthattime,eventhenameoftheemergingdisciplineremainedtobedetermined,withcandidatessuchastranslatologyinEnglish-anditscounterpartstranslatologieinFrenchandtraductologiainSpanish-stakingtheirclaim.AseminalpaperinthedevelopmentofthefieldasadistinctdisciplinewasJamesS.Holmes'sThenameandnatureoftranslationstudies.InhisContemporaryTranslationTheories,Gentzler(Munday,2001
