DearSiasFoundationBoardmembers:Iamwritingtoextendmysinceregratitudeforyougivemethisopportunitytointerviewmeandgrantmeaward.Asyouknow,IamastudentofSIE(schoolofinternationaleducation).Thus,mytuitionfeesformyfamilyisabigcost.Ifithadnotbeenforyourassistanceininnovativeaward,IfearthatIwouldhavebeenchasemydreamandmyidea.WhenIwasafreshmaninSias,Ithoughtthethecollegelifeshouldbeusedtochasedream.So,IusedoneyeartimetothinkaboutwhatIreallysuittodo.Mostimportantly,Imetafewlike-mindedpeople.Thus,wedidmanythinktoimproveourcreativity.Suchasentrepreneurshipcompetitionandrobotcompetition.What’smore,wealsowanttodosomebusinessprojects.Afteroneprojectfailure,wefigureoutwhatprojectweshoulddo.Now,ourprojectjoinedinincubationcenterandIhavemoreenergytoachievemygoal.Fromthisexperience,Idoreallyappreciateyouforgivingmethisopportunity.Onereasonisthat,Ineedthisresourcetoachievemygoal.Asisknowntoall,productsfromr&dtomarketingisaverydifficultprocess,especiallyforuscollegestudents.Thus,weneedcourageandresourcetoachieveourgoals.Atpresent,ourprojectdevelopmentprocessisnearinganend.Weusedabout6monthstodothisthings.Ourteamfromproductdesign,materialselection,prototypedevelopmenttoproductcompletion.Forus,itisjustabegin.Therearemanythingstodointhissummervacation.Ourteamwillbestayintheschoolatfirsthalfofsummervacationtofinishourproject.Andthisawardisveryimportanttoustobeginourprojectandraiseussteppingbysteppingforalongtime.Whereas,I’mappreciatethatthisopportunitybecauseIcanbuildmyemotionandthisopportunityencouragesmethatIdidacorrectwayinmyfreshman’syear.Thisawardisnotonlyaprizebutalsoapositiveinspirationformetokeeponmy“stayhungry,stayfoolish”way.AsfarasI'mconcerned,IstudyinformationsystemandeducationsysteminSIE.Iwillkeeponstudyingharderandharder,haveanactiveattitudeonprojects,workhardanddiscipline.AndIwilltakecaretheusualdailylifetofindsomeinterestsandsharewithmypartnersandtorelatetheseintereststhingswithourmajorwhichcanpracticemyknowledgewithmyhobbies!Idoenjoythislifeverymuchbecausethishabitnotonlycanhelpmetogetthesocialabilityofsharpness,butalsocanbringeacreativebrainasIexpected!Sothisawardisjustabeginning,andIwillpayallmyattentiononourprojectthen,becauseourprojectissosweetforallthecustomswhohaveaphonethatI’msureitisveryusefulwhentheirbatterypowerislow.Ourprojectiscontributedtotheeasylifeforthehuman-being!What’smore,Iwouldliketoexpressmywarmthankstoyou!Pleaseacceptmygratitude.Sincerely,Manythanks.NicoLiuYangEmail:[e-mail]iveAward
