Twokinds读后感Inthestory‘twokinds’,theauthorwroteastorybetweenaChineseimmigrantmotherandherdaughter,whobornintheUS.Thissettingcanrevealthebittersweetrelationshipsvividlybetweenparentsandtheirchildren.Theirrelationshipwasnotgood,evenmanyyearsoftimewasinsilence.BecausethisChineseimmigrantmotheralwaysforcedherdaughtertodosomethingthatherdaughterdidn’tlike.Andthemotherhopedherdaughtercouldbeaprodigyinthefuture.Hence,shesentherdaughtertoaneighbortostudythepiano,althoughthedaughteropposedstrongly.However,herdaughterdidn’tlikethesetrainingandshedisappointedhermotheragainandagainsothathermotherlostherhopeintheendandletherflyfreely.Althoughsincethen,herdaughterlivednotverygoodandexperiencedmanyhardships.Intheendofthisstory,whenthedaughterreceivedapianofromhermotherandplayedeasierthanbeforeinher30yearsoldbirthday,shefinallyunderstoodhermother’slove.AsfarasIamconcerned,themother’sloveforherdaughterisbittersweet,andinmanytimesthisloveisbitter.Becausethemotherputtingherintoallkindsoftrainingwithoutaskingherdaughter’spermission.Soherdaughterfeltveryunhappyandinmostoftimesheactedarebelintheirdailylife.Finally,thecontradictionsbetweenmotheranddaughterburstinaChineseyoungpeopletalentshow,thedaughter’sbadperformancelethermotherloseherhopeandnolongerforcedherpracticepiano.Andtheyliveinsilenceformanyyears.SoIbelievedthatbeforethedaughter’s30yearsold,shewaslivinginabitter.However,inmyopinion,alloftheturningpointoccurredinthedaughter’s30yearsoldbirthday.Whenshereceivedabirthdaygiftfromhermother,sheplayedthepianoagainandfoundthatthemusicwhichsheplayedsuddenlybecameeasierthanbefore.Andthensheunderstoodhermother’sgreateffortoftrainingherwhenshewasyoung.Alsoatthattime,shefelthermother’sloveissweetalthoughitwastoolatetounderstandthat,becausehermothercouldn’tlivewithherandshowedherlovetoherdaughter.Fromconflictstounderstandingeachother,ittookaverylongtime.Inaddition,mother’sbitterloveinthisdaughter’sheartsuddenlybecamesweet.Inconclusion,story‘twokinds’showedusaboutloveandhatebetweenmotheranddaughter.Ithinkthetitle“twokinds”maybereflectthetwofeelingsofthedaughter,anditmeanseverythinghastwoaspects,likeacorn.Fromthetwopeople,wecanseetwokindsoflove,buttheyuseddifferentways.
