IsItNecessarytoLegalizationofSame-sexSame-sexmarriage(orcalledgaymarriageorsame-sexmarriage)referstothemaritalrelationshipbetweentwopersonsthesamebiologicalsexorgenderidentitybetween.Insame-sexmarriagesupporters,whichisalsorecognizedasthemarriageequalityorequalmarriagerights.Today,twenty-firstcentury,facingthethreatofAIDS,thepressuresofgaymarriage,aswellasworryingthehealthofgaymentalandotherpractical,howearnestlysafeguardthelegitimaterightsandinterestsofthegaycommunityhasbecomeanextremelycomplexsocialproblem.Currently,aseriesofsocialproblemscausedbythegrowingpopulationofgayisofsocialconcern,includingdiscussionsonthelegalizationofsame-sexmarriagehasbecomeincreasinglyfierce.ParticularlyrenownedsociologistDr.LiYinheChineseproposaltolegalizesame-sexmarriage,andmuchcontroversy,notonlycontroversialproposalitself,moreproposalsreflectstheenormoussocialvalueconflicts---mainstreamandnon-mainstreamcollision,peoplestartthinkingaboutsame-sexmarriageshouldnotbelegalized.Inessence,homosexualityisakindoftheoppositesexcannotproducetomeettherequirementsandnatureofnaturalphysiologicalphenomenon.In1973,theAmericanPsychiatricAssociationremovedhomosexualitywouldleadtoadecisionClassificationofDiseases,thefollowingyear,theAmericanPsychologicalAssociationhasalsomadeasimilardecision.WorldHealthOrganizationalsoconfirmedin1992:homosexualityisanaturalphenomenonbelongingtominorities,thenitisnotclassifiedasmentaldisorders(sexualperversion).In2001,ChinapromulgatedthethirdeditionPsychiatricAssociation,ChinaClassificationanddiagnosticcriteriaofmentaldisorders,thesamewillberemovedhomosexualityfromtheclassificationofdiseases,whichmeansthathomosexualityisnolongerconsideredadisease,homosexualityisnolongerinourcountryforthefirsttimeclassifiedasapathologicalmentalabnormality.Sincehomosexualityisnotpathological,butratheranormalhumanbehaviorandminoritiesnormalwayoflife,therefore,homosexualityasacitizenofacountry,itsbasiclegalrightsasheterosexualsshouldobtainlegalrecognitionandprotectionofthecountry'sanypersonororganizationshallnotbeinfringed.
