EmbeddedPWMDCmotorcontrolsystemBasedonARMFei,Ma1,a1DepartmentofElectricalandElectronicEngineering,ZiboVocationalInstitute,chinaamfmfmmff@163.comKeywords:DoubleClosedLoop,PMW,ARM,DCmotorAbstrat:ThispaperintroducesanARM-basedembeddedPWMDCmotorcontrolsystem.Thesystemusesavariablevoltagecontrol;theentiresystemusesthespeedandcurrentclosed-loopcontrolstructure.Themaincircuitusingthestructureofhigh-powersystemGTRswitchingdevicesandthebipolarH-bridgecircuitforthepoweramplifiercircuit,tocompleteirreversiblespeedregulationalsofinishedreversiblespeedregulation.PWMmodulationpartoftheARMembeddeddevelopmentplatform,usingtheClanguageprogrammingtocontrolthetimertogeneratetwocomplementarywidthadjustablerectangularwaves.GTRHcircuitiscontrolledbyadjustingthewidthofthewaveformfromtwowaysofftimeinordertoachievethepurposeofspeedregulation.ItincreasedtheflexibilityandaccuracyofthesystemwhilesimplifyingtheprocessofgenerationofthePWMpulse.IntroductionInthefieldofmodernmanufacturing,automationandcontrolsystemshasbeenthewidespreadapplicationanddevelopmentofautomaticmotorspeedcontrolsystemasthecoreoftheautomaticcontrolstatusespeciallysignificant.DCmotorastheACmotorstructureissimple,cheap,easyfabrication,easytomaintain,butithasagoodstarting,brakingperformance,itisappropriateinabroadrangeofsmoothspeed,sotheDCspeedcontrolsystemisstillautomaticallythemainformofspeedcontrolsystem.Motorcontrol,fromsimpletocomplex,andmatureintothemainstream.Itsextremelywiderangeofapplications,suchas:militaryandaerospaceradarantenna,artillerytargeting,inertialnavigationandothercontrol;industrialCNCmachinetools,controlofindustrialrobots,printingmachineryandotherequipment;computerperipheralsandofficeequipmentcontrolofthecontrolofprinters,faxmachines,copiers,scanners,etc.;audio-visualequipmentandhomeappliances,taperecorders,digitalcameras,washingmachines,airconditioners,etc.[1].Withthedevelopmentofpowerelectronicstechnology,fasterwitching,control,andeasiertofull-controlledpowerdevices,MOSFETandGBTbecomethemainstream,thepulsewidthmodulationtechniqueshowedagreatersuperiority:thesimplelinesofthemaincircuitpowercomponentsneedtouseless;highswitchingfrequency,current,easytocontinuous,lessharmonic,lowlossandlowheat;low-speedperformance,highprecision,steadyspeed,andthusthewidespeedrange;thesystemrespondquicklytogoodperformance,dynamicabilityofimmunity;maincircuitelementsintheswitchstate,theconductionlossissmall,thedeviceefficiencyhigher;inrecentyears,fastpaceofdevelopmentofthemicro-computertechnology,computer-orientedinformationtechnologyasanewproductivity,positivesocialpenetration,DCtunespeedsystemdevelopedintoamajortrendtowardsdigitization.DoubleClosedLoopSystemThesystemisbasedonthestructureofrotationspeedandthecurrentdoubleclosedloopcontrol,showninFigure1.Tworegulatorsareinstalledinthesystemtoadjustthespeedandcurrentrespectivelyunderthecascadeconnection,thespeedregulatoroutputastheinputofthecurrentregulator,thenthecurrentregulatoroutputasthePWMcontrolvoltage[2].Fromthepointofviewofthestructureoftheclosed-loopfeedback,thecurrentadjustmentringontheinside,theinnerring,accordingtothetypicaltypeIsystem;speedadjustmentringontheoutside,tobecometheouterring,atypicaltypeIIsystemdesign.Inordertoobtainagooddynamicandstaticquality,theregulatorwithPIregulatorandsystemcalibration.DetectionsectionoftheHallchipcurrentsensingdevicetodetectthecurrentloop,thespeedalsoistheuseofthegunthemotortodetect,toachievetheidealtesting.ThemainpartofthecircuitusingthecircuitstructureoftheGTRiscontrollableswitchingelements,theH-bridgecircuitofpoweramplifiercircuit[3].ControlpartoftheCprogramminglanguagetocontroltheARM-theS3C2410XchiptimertoproducetwocomplementaryPWMpulsewaveformbyadjustingthewidthofthetwo-channelwaveformtocontroltheHcircuitinGTR-offtime,willbeabletocontrolthemotorspeed.Figure.1RotationSpeedandCurrentDoubleClosed-LoopMainCircuitDesignThemaincircuitofthesystemisbasedonthepoweramplifiercircuitstructureofhigh-powerGTRfortheswitchingelementsandtheH-bridgecircuit,showninFigure2.Thefigure,thefourGTRisdividedintotwogroups,andasagroup,andtheothergroup.ThesamegroupoftwoGTRconductionshutdown,andtwosetsoftransistorscanbetheturnoftheturn-onandturn-off.TomakethemotorMtothepositivedirectionofrotation,thecontrolvoltageispositive,eachtransistorbasevoltagewaveformshowninFigure3.Purportstoreversethemotor,thecontrolvoltagearenegative.GTRisabipolarhigh-powerhighreversevoltagetransistor,whichismostlyusedasapowerswitch,andtheGTRisafull-controlledpowersemiconductordevicehavingtheabilitytoself-shutdown,thisfeaturecanmakethecontrolofallkindsofconvertercircuitmoreconvenientandflexiblewhilethecircuitstructureisgreatlysimplified.SoftwareDesignThesystemisusingClanguageprogrammingtotakePMWcontrolbasedonARMembeddeddevelopmentplatform.ThemainfunctionchipinthissystemistheS3C2410X.Thechipcomeswithtimer,sothecontrolsectioneliminatestheneedforthetriangularwavegeneratingcircuit,thepulsemodulationcircuitandthePWMsignaldelayinthedistributioncircuit,replacedbyabipolarPWMgeneratorchiptimerS3C2410X0,1composedof.Thischipcontr
