雅思口语话题卡人物篇(1)朗阁雅思考试研究中心在雅思口语第二部分的描述中,对人物的描述是考试的主流话题之一。人物描述出现的概率相当高,几乎在每个月的考试里都能遇到。一般来讲,人物描述的体现方式有以下几种:普通人:achild/anoldperson/afavoriteteacher/aclosefamilymember/aclosefriend名人:afamousperson/aleader/apersonyouwanttobecomeoneday/aforeigncelebrity/anadventurousperson在今年的雅思口语考试中,又出现了一些新的表现方式,如:aninterestingperson/ahappyperson等。不论是怎么样的表现形式,对于考生来说,只要掌握方法,都能逐一破解。有的考生可能会提出疑问,如果只是回答卡片上的几个问题,似乎很难达到2分钟的时间长度。那么,卡片上没有提到的方面,我可以进行描述吗?回答是肯定的。但是前提是,这些虽然不是卡片问题的内容,但也必须是和该卡片主体息息相关的信息。对于该人物的描述,考生需要注意以下2个方面:1、尽量回答卡片上的所有问题一般卡片包含着4个问题,在笔记过程中应当以词语为基础来进行分解,常见问题为:Whothispersonis(人物,e.g.mymother)Whathe/shelookslike(描述性词语,e.g.handsome,gorgeous,slender)Howhe/sheinfluencedyou(介绍此人对自己的影响)Andexplainwhyyoulikethisperson.(解释为什么那么喜欢这个人)2、对卡片上没有提到信息进行拓展描述在准备的1分钟里面,考生可以将4个问题的答案以关键词的形式纪录在纸上,以起到提醒的作用,也可以帮助考生理清思路。然后结合自己的情况加入其他的描述(考生们背的套句,这时就可以用的到了)。人物卡片举例如下:★普通人AhappypersonSpeakingofahappyperson,IwanttotalkaboutmycousinLily.She’sthehappiestpersonIknow,andeveryoneagreesthatshehasagreatpersonality.Firstofall,she’sextremelyenthusiasticabouteverythingandalwayseagertogoouttomeetnewpeople.Besides,she’sfullofenergyandnevertired.Ihaveneverheardhercomplainaboutanything,becauseshealwayslooksatthebrightsideofthings.Sometimesweteaseherbecausesheconstantlyhasthisbiggrin(=smile)onherfaceandcan’tstopsmiling.Lilyisgoingtoturn22prettysoon,Ithink,andshestudiesinaprestigious(=famous)universityinBeijing,soIdon’tseeherasoftenasIusedto.Butweoftentalkonthephone.ShesaidthatshedidverywellinherstudiesandmadealotoffriendsbytakingpartinnumerousextracurriculumactivitiesandlastIheardshewasdatingaverycoolguytoo.Ibelieveshe’sgoteveryreasontobehappy,butit’smostlybecauseofherabilitytoremainpositive.Describeahappypersonyouknow.Youshouldsay:whothepersonishowyoucametoknowhim/herwhetheryouknowhim/herwellandexplainwhatmakesthispersonsuchahappyperson.She’salwaysoptimisticanddoesn’tseemtobeafraidofanything.Iremember,whenshewasinhighschool,shealwaystoldeveryonethatshewouldbeokayinspiteofallthehomeworkandtestsshehadtoface.Ontheotherhand,shecancheereveryoneup.WheneverIhaveaproblem,shecanalwaysgivemeausefuladvice.Howconsiderateandreassuringsheis!Rightnow,she’sstrivingtobecomeapediatrician(=doctorforchildren).Ithinkshe’llbeagreatdoctorandteacherforkids,becausehercheerfulnesscanbecontagious(有感染力的).Shealwayssharesfunnystorieswithusandmakesuslaugh.Ithinkshe’sapleasuretospendtimewith.{温馨提示}朗阁雅思考试研究中心提醒考生注意:这篇回答可以用于“ahappyperson”,也可以用于“afamilymember”或者“aclosefriend”。有些考生在未结束描述前就被考官打断(Sorry.Iamgonnastopyouthere),如果遇到这样的情况,是因为考官需要掌控考试的节奏和时间,并非由于考生讲得不好,所以考生不必紧张,只需要根据考官的指令继续考试即可。AteacherTalkingaboutteachersinmylife,lwouldliketomentionMr.LiwhowasmyphysicsteacheratmiddleschoolinShanghai.Heissoimportantformebecauseheprovidednotonlyeducationbutmorecritically,lifeguidance.Mr.Lihadhisownwayofteachingandseemedinterestedinallthemembersoftheclass--theweakerstudentsaswellasthecleverones,whichreallyimpressedme.Andhealsohadagoodsenseofhumor.IthoughtphysicscouldDescribeateacheryouhavehad.Youshouldsay:whotheteacheriswhattheteacherislikehowhe/shetaughtandexplainwhateffecttheteacherhadonyou.beprettyboringsometimes,butwhenhefoundwe’dstoppedpayingattention,he’dtellusaquickjoke,andthatwouldwakeusupandhecouldgoonwiththelesson.Histeachingmethodologywassoversatilethatweneverfeltbored.Itwassofun!Mostimportantly,hehelpeduslearnwhatlearningwasallabout.Hetaughtusnotonlyasubject,butalsohowtocarryonlearningaboutthesubjectafterclass.Forexample,hesaidthatweshouldalwaystrytokeepanenquiringandopenmind;physicswasn’tjustasubjectintextbook;itwasawayoflookingattheworldanditcouldhelpustounderstandthewayinwhichtheworldworked.Andmanyofushavebenefitedfromthisquitealotbecauseitchangedourwayoflearning.Iwillalwaysthankhimforhisdevotedguide.Asthesayinggoes,”Amediocreteachertells;agoodteacherexplains;asuperiorteacherdemonstrates;andagreatteacherinspires.”Tome,heisthegreatestteacherIhaveeverknown.{温馨提示}朗阁雅思考试研究中心提醒考生注意:这篇回答可以用于“ateacher”,也可以用于“asmartperson”。(本文来自朗阁教育雅思考试教研组,供广大考生学习使用,转载请注明出处)
