RegardingtheInternationalChildren'sDay,itiswidelycelebratedonJune1.Children'sDayhaditsoriginintheWorldConferencefortheWellbeingofChildreninGenevain1925.TheJune1datehasaChinese-USAorigin.In1925,theChineseconsul-generalinSanFranciscogatheredanumberofChineseorphanstocelebratetheDragonBoatFestival.This,ofcourse,coincidedwiththeconferencementionedabove.InternationalChildren'sDayflagGreenbackground↙↘↗↖↓ThebluefigureObservedonNovember20theachyear.In1954,theUNGeneralAssemblyrecommendedthatallcountriesshouldestablishaUniversalChildren'sDayonanappropriateday.Wearenotsure,butperhapseachcountrydid.....atvariousdifferentdatesduringtheyear.TheresolutionwasadoptedonNovember20,1954.UniversalChildren'sDayInternationalChildren'sDayThesecondSundayinDecember.ThisisajointinitiativebetweenUNICEFandtheInternationalAcademyofTelevisionArtsandSciences.It'sadaywhenbroadcasterstuneintokids.WorldChildren'sDayThisisadayMcDonald'susesasafundraiserforRonaldMcDonaldHouseCharities.Wearenotsureofthedateeachyearortheoriginofthisday.Children'sDayinJapanChildren'sDayisoneoftheholidaysinJapan.ItiscelebratedonMay5eachyear,whenJapancelebratetheirchildren'sgrowthonthatday.BeforeWorldWarII,itwasafestivalforboys.Butin1948,whenthefestivalbecameanofficialholiday,itbecameaholidayforwishingallchildren'shappinessandwelfare.Children'sDayiscommemoratedinJapanbyflyingflagsintheshapeofcarpagainstthewind,symbolizingachild'sdeterminationtothriveagainstadversities.InSouthKoreaSouthKoreanChildren'sDaywascreatedin1975asachangefromBoy'sDay.ItisanofficialholidaythroughouttheRepublicofKorea.ThisiscelebratedonMay5.Familiesusuallymakeoutingstochildren'sparks,amusementparks,zoos,orotherchildfriendlylocations.GDR（东德）:Juni1stGDR:InternationalChildren'sDayOnthisdayoftheyear,onetypicallyreceivedcongratulationsandpresentsfromone'sparentsanddidspecialactivitiesinschool,suchasfieldtripsandthelike.SincetheAffiliationin1990FRG（西德）:September,20thFRG:WorldChildren'sDayThiswasnotacceptedbylargepartsoftheformerGDRpopulationThankyou!
