DistanceEducationisGoodornotWiththerapiddevelopmentofscienceandtechnology,distanceeducationhasspedupinourcountry.Whilemanypeoplespeakhighlyofitsadvantages,othersseemoredisadvantagesderivingfromit.Everythinghastwosides.Somepeopleinfavoroftheexpansionofdistanceeducationandtheysaythatdistanceeducationisagoodformtolearn,butotherstaketheoppositeviewandsaythatthetraditionalformisbetter.Inmyview,Iagreetheformer.BecauseIthinkitsadvantagesaremorethanthedisadvantages.Thenetworkteachingadoptsdiversificationoftheteachingforms.Comparedwiththetraditionalteaching,ithasthefollowingadvantagesFirst,distanceeducationismoreflexibleandopenthanthetraditionalformofteaching.Itcanovercomethebarrierintimeandspacefromthetraditionaleducation.Accordingyourownneedstochoosethestudycontentsatanywhereandanytime.Withtherapidgrowthofthelifeandworking,moreandmorepeoplehavelittletimetolearnandtheycannotconcentratethetimetolearnwell.Therefore,theformthatsittingintheclassroomtolearnisimpractical.Fromthisphenomenon,wemustadoptabetterformtoachievethepurpose.Duetotheflexibilityofthedistanceeducationandthesharingoftheresources,Ithinkitisbetterthanthetraditionaleducation.Moreimportantisthatthepopularitiesofthecellphoneandpersonalcomputer,theyprovidemoreconvenienceforustolearn.Anditbringsmorechancestous.Learnersonthebasisoftheirownlearningprogresstostudyfromthedistanceeducation.Itseparatefromthestep-by-stepeducationintradition.Inthelearningprocess,learnerscandiscuss,communicate,estimateandanswerfreelyinlearningplatform,itwillimprovetheirabilitiescollectively.Besides,theindividuationofthelearnersisprotected.Distanceeducationcanhelplearnersbreakthroughtherestrictionstheregionandthetime.Itcancommunicatecompletelyinafairmannerbetweenstudentsandteachers.Itcaneliminatethephenomenonthatsomestudentswhohaveintrovertedcharacteranddonotdaretospeak.Distanceeducationcanexpandtheregionofthecommunicationandtheycanknowmorethingsfromothers.Thediversityofthecommunicationandtheexpansionofthecommunicationrange,theycanbringmoreoptionsandmakethelearnersmoreinterests.Itcanstimulatestudentsinaexcitedstatus.Meanwhile,itpaiesmoreattentiontorespecteverylearnersandtreateseverystudentequally.Weallknowtherehavefiftystudentsinaclass,theteachermustpreparefortheclassinthefirstandheorshehasnotimetoaskeverystudentorgivestimetostudenttoaskquestion.Therearesomefactorsfromstudents,suchasseekingtoprevailoverothers,afraidingoflosingface,vanityandsoon.Allofthese,theywillneveraskoranswerthequestioninthefaceoftheotherstudents.However,withthelongtimetohaveclass,abilitiesofstudentsmaybefell.Moreimportant,inthenetworktheydaretosayeverywordsanddonotcaremore.Distanceeducationismoreintuitive,humanizedandmoreimportanttoprotecttheindividuationofthelearners.Thelastbutnottheleast,distanceeducationhasequityandenjoysthelifelongeducation.Theinformationsocietyislife-longlearningsociety.Distanceeducationcansatisfypeoplewhoarefromdifferentagesandoccupations.It’sequaltothemtostudyknowledge.Anditispossibletopeoplehaveachancetolearn.Andtheteachersneverprejudicetostudentswhohavegoodgrades.Thedistanceeducationbreakthroughtherestrictionsandconstraintofthetradition.Allofthemcansharetheoutstandingnetworkeducationalresourcestotheirownlevels.Maybesomepeoplethinkithasnoenoughinteractiveshortage.Intheremoteeducationunderthenetworkenvironment,theyhavenoopportunitytocommunicatefacetoface.Studentstudyinthecomputercannotbefacetoteacherdirectly,anditlacksofemotionalcommunicationbetweenteachersandstudents.Therelationshipofstudentsturnscoldanditwillmakethefieldofthesocialcommunicationturnsnarrow.Itisdetrimentaltotheirhealth.However,Idonotthinkso.Ithinkdistanceeducationgiveslearnersabigenoughplatform.Theycancommunicatewithanylearnerwhotheywanttospeakintheplatform.Andtherehavemanypeoplewhohaveprofessionalskills,learnerscantouchwiththem.AsfarasIamconcerned,weshoulddevelopdistanceeducationmorerapidlytobenefitmorestudents.Meanwhile,wecandesignsomeprogramstohelpteachersandstudentstocontacteachother.Underthemodeofthiseducation,learnersmakefulluseofdistanceeducationalresourcesinthepremise,theycangetmorebenefitsfromthiseducation.Therefore,weneedcontinuallytopromotethedistanceeducation.
