Poly(vinylalcohol)/polyethyleneimineultrafinefibersbyelectrospinningHeMingyu,DongCunhai,YuanXiaoyan,YaoKangde[Abstract]Ultrafinefiberswereproducedbyelectrospinningfromaqueoussolutionsofpoly(vinylalcohol)(PVA)andpolyethylenimine(PEI).Themorphologyofthemembranesoftheultrafinefiberswasobservedunderascanningelectronmicroscope(SEM).Byanalyzingthesolutionproperties,effectsofPVA/PEImassratioandconcentrationonthemorphologyoftheultrafinefiberswerediscussed.Resultssuggestedthatuniformfiberswithdiameterof100~300nmcouldbeobtainedfroman8%polymersolutionwith75/25ofPVA/PEImassratio.ThemorphologyofultrafinePVA/PEIfiberswasmainlyrelatedtothesurfacetensionandtheviscosityofPVA/PEIsolutions.ThePVA/PEIfibrousmembranescouldbepotentiallyappliedastissuerepairbiomaterialssuchaswoulddressings.[Keywords]Electrospinning;Ultrafinefiber;Poly(vinylalcohol);Polyethyleneimine±×051020152550100150200250300350Fiberdiameter(nm)Frenquency(%)
