心理学专业个人陈述英文范文导读：本文心理学专业个人陈述英文范文，仅供参考，如果能帮助到您，欢迎点评和分享。为大家介绍心理学专业个人陈述英文范文，希望对出国留学的同学有所帮助。想了解留学精彩内容，为你详细解答。Program:Teenager&JuvenileDevelopmentalPsychologyInmyundergraduateprogram,Ireceivededucationacrosstwofields—adegreeprograminlawattheLawSchoolofXXUniversityandadegreeprograminpsychologyatXXUniversity.Myrigorousacademictrainingsacrossthosetwofieldshavegivenmenecessaryqualificationsforpursuingamoreadvancedprogrameitherinpsychologyorinlaw,endowingmewithauniqueadvantageininterdisciplinaryknowledge.AsfarasIamconcerned,lawandpsychologyarereciprocal.Theyallpertaintohumanbehavior.Asamatteroffact,mythesisinlaw,entitled“XXX“exploresjuveniledelinquencybyexaminingthecomplicatedpsychologicalfactorsoftheyoungergenerationofChinainfamily,schoolandneighborhoodsettings.However,thereareessentialdifferencesbetweenthem.Intermsofthecausalrelationshipsofhumanbehavior,lawisprimarilyconcernedwiththetreatmentoftheconsequencesofhumanbehaviorwhilepsychologyprobesintothemotivationsthatcausepeopletoactastheydo.Intheframeworkofhumanrelations,lawaimsatorderlyandwell-regulatedsocialrelationshipwhilepsychology,withitsinterventionsintotheprocessofhumandevelopment,seekstofacilitatethehealthydevelopmentoftheindividuals.Whilelawandpsychologyarebothindispensabletotheproperfunctioningofoursociety,whenitcomestomakingachoicebetweenthosetwofieldsinwhichtopursueagraduateprogram,IdecidetooptforaprograminDevelopmentalPsychology.Mydecisionismotivatedbythefactthatlawcanonlydealwiththeaftermathofhumanbehaviorwhereaspsychologycanprovidepreventivemeasuresagainstpossiblenegativehumanbehavior.Child&adolescentpsychology,afieldIaminterestedin,mayfacilitatethedevelopmentofhealthypersonalitystructurethatmayenablechildrenandadolescentsinteractwiththesocietyinaharmoniousmanner.IhavereceivedsoundacademictrainingsthatastudentofpsychologycanexpectinChina,excellingparticularlyinDevelopmentalPsychology,CognitivePsychology,ExperimentalPsychologyandothercorecourses,allofwhichhaveimpartedtomethenecessarytheoreticalknowledge.My87/100GPAinPsychologyhasmademethetopstudentinmyclassandthewinnerofaseriesoftheuniversity’stop-levelscholarships.Asanundergraduate,Ihaveattemptedatsometentativeresearchbysubmittingessaysandresearchpaperstoprovincial-levelanduniversity-leveljournals(pleaserefertomyResume).Inperformingthoseresearches,IfindthatIhavebenefitedconsiderablyfrommysolidmathematicsfoundationandtherelatedmethodology—myscorefortheAdvancedMathematicscourseis98/100whiletheSPSSwasnearlyfullmark.Ihavemasteredimportantstatisticalandquantitativemethods,computerprogrammingandLISRELwithmuchfacilityandIexcelindesigningexperimentsandpreparingquestionnaires.IstartedtoperformformalacademicresearchattheDevelopmentalPsychologyLabinXXUniversitytwoyearsbyworkingasaresearchassistanttoProf.XX,aleadingChinesescholaronsocialdevelopmentinchildhoodandadolescenceandpeerrelations.Byfocusingonthepeerrelations,socialcognition,socialself-concept,attributions,andpastsocialexperiences,Icompletedafull-lengthresearchpaperXX,whichbecameaposterpresentationattheXX.Myresearchindicatesthatinadditiontomaintaininganappropriatelevelofsocialself-conceptandoptimisticattributionalstyle,itisessentiallyworthwhiletoemphasizeanothertwostrategiestoimprovethepositivepeernominations:topayspecialattentiontotheattributionstonegativeeventsofthelife,andtoattributesocialpopularityorsuccesstosomestablecauses.Basedonmydistinguishedacademicperformance,IattendedtheXXandtheXX.Offcampus,Ihaveworkedasasocialworkerofferingpsychologicalconsultingforthe“NoWorryTeenagers”columnfortheauthoritativejournalXX,dealingwiththeproblemsconcerninginterpersonalrelationsandsocialcognitionofadolescentsandyoungadults.Thisexperienceallowedmetogaininsightintomanyimportantaspectsofthementallivesofthisgroupofpeoplebeyondthemerestatisticaldata.However,itisaregretthatmyknowledgeisinsufficienttoofferadequateconsultingservicetomyaudienceofsuchdiversebackgrounds.Thisfactrevealstometheneedtoundertakemoreadvancedstudiestoimprovemyprofessionalcompetence.Iamstronglyinterestedinthedevelopmentalpsychologyofadolescentsbecausebyhelpingadolescentsbuildupahealthypsychologythatmayenablethemtosuccessfullyintegrateintothecompetitiveworldofadults,hencefewersocialproblemscouldbecreated.Inmyproposedprogram,Iwouldliketoconcentrateonthefollowingsubjects:socialcognitiveandsocial-emotionaldevelopmentinchildhoodandadolescence;peerrelationsandfamilyrelationsandtheirinfluenceondevelopment;resilienceinhighrisksettings;developmentofself-esteem;genderdifferencesandsimilarities,andresearchmethods.TheUniversityofXX’sgraduateeducationisverystronginthosefields.Yourfacultyconsistsofdistinguishedprofessorswhocomefromleadinguniversitiesandhavemadeimportantresearchachievements.Yourprogramoffersstudentsatotalof14labs,amongwhichMultipleIdentitiesandInterpersonalInteractionsLabismostrelevanttomystudy.IexpectthatyourPh.D.programcangivemeinstructioninthefundamentaltheoriesandknowledgeofdevelopmentalpsychologyandalsogivemerigoroustraininginplanning,conductingandevaluatingresearch.IwouldliketoidentifyProf.X
