CorporatesocialresponsibilityI.Thedefinitionofcorporatesocialresponsibility“Corporatesocialresponsibilityreferstotheresponsibilitythatacorporationhasforitsstakeholdersinitsbusinessoperation”(Robin,2005).Theconceptofcorporatesocialresponsibilityisbasedontheconceptthatbusinessoperationmustbecorrespondenttosustainabledevelopmentconcept.Theenterprisesshouldnotonlycareabouttheirfinancialandoperatingstatus,butalsotheyhavetoconsidertheirinfluenceonthesocietyandenvironmentthattheyarein.Thecorporateresponsibilityofanenterprisesembodiesin:astrongandlargeenterprises,allthebusinessandmanagementcomfortingtolawsandmorality,theinvestmentoncommunitywelfare,thesocialcharityandtheprotectiontotheenvironment.II.TheexamplesforcorporatesocialresponsibilityinChinaWiththedevelopmentofChina’seconomy,moreandmoreenterprisesstarttotakethesocialresponsibilitypositively.Therearethreeexamplesasfollows.1.ThecorporateresponsibilityofBASFCorporationAsaGermanchemicalindustrycorporation,BASFCorporationenteredintoChinesemarketin1865.Ithasbeendoingagoodjobintakingcorporateresponsibility.Inenvironment,BASFCorporationemphasizesonresponsibilityandtheanalysesonecologicalbenefit.It’sacampaignadvocatingimprovementinenvironmentprotection,security,healthandsooninchemicalindustry.“In1992,ithasputforwardtheconceptionof“responsibleactions””(Pavlos,2009).InChina,ithasofferhelptouniversityeducationandcommunitydevelopment.Insociety,BASFCorporationarewillingtotakethesocialresponsibilitiesrelatedtoitsbusiness,includingtheinteractionswithitsemployees,clients,suppliersandthelocalcommunities.2.ThecorporateresponsibilityofYiliDairyCorporationGroupAsthebiggestdailyenterprisesinChina,YiliDairyCorporationGrouphasbeentakingitssocialresponsibilities.Ithashelpalmost5000000milkfarmersgrowrichinthepastfewyears.Ithasfunded4000000yuantohelpthoseexcellentstudentsfrompoorfamiliesinHuhehaotecityin2005.In2006,thecorporationsetayouthcenterinMongoliatotrainyoungpeopleandeducatethemtoimprovetheirabilitytogetrichinruralareasinChina.Andin2008,whenSichuansufferedthegreatearthquake,YiliDairyCorporationGroupimmediatelywenttodisaster-strickenareatohelpandsentalotofaidstothearea,providingmilkforpeoplewhoneeded.3.ThecorporateresponsibilityofSuningApplianceGroupSuniningApplianceGroupisalargeapplianceenterprisesinChina.In2000,itfunded5000000yuanaseducationalfundforbuilding2to3HopeprimaryschoolsinChina.Italsotook300000yuantoaidfreshmeninUniversitiesfrompoorfamilies.In2003,whenSARSthreatenedChina,thecorporationtooktheleadtofightthedisease.Itnotonlytookallkindsofmeasurestopreventthedisease,butalsoitdonated3000000yuantothegovernmentforfightingthedisease.Italsodonated10000toChinesRedCross.ItmadegreatcontributioninChina’sfightingSARSin2003.III.Theinfluenceofcorporatesocialresponsibilityonbusiness1.TheinfluenceofcorporatesocialresponsibilityoneconomicefficiencyofenterprisesFirstly,acorporationtakingcorporatesocialresponsibilityisbeneficialforitsfinancialperformance.Takingcorporatesocialresponsibilitycannotonlysetagoodsocialimageforthecorporation,butalsoitisapassforthecorporationtoenterintoabiggermarket,suchastheinternationalmarket.Secondly,acorporationtakingcorporationsocialresponsibilitycanhelpreducethecostofoperationofthecorporation.Forexample,ifacompanycantaketheresponsibilityinenvironmentprotectionandimprovingthepeople’slifequality,itcanavoidtheaccusationandpunishmentofthepublicandthegovernment,thusnotbeingdisturbedinproduction.“Sometimesitmaybeawardedbythegovernmentandgetbenefitsinpolicy”(Bala,2009).Inashorttime,expensemeansdecreaseinincome,butinalongterm,therewillbetensevenhundredsofreturnsfortheinvestment.2.TheinfluenceofcorporatesocialresponsibilityonsocialbenefitsofenterprisesAcorporationtakingresponsibilitycangaingoodreputationinthesociety,whichisakindofimmaterialpropertyforthecorporationandcansetagoodimageforthecorporationtoattractmoreconsumersandexpandthemarket.Firstly,acorporationcandecreasethesupervisionandmarketbarriersthroughtakingcorporationresponsibility.Ithasbeenprovedthatcorporationscanbegivenmorefreedombythegovernmentbecauseoftheirtakingsocialresponsibilities.Secondly,acorporationtakingresponsibilitycanaddsenseofidentityformthesociety,thusdecreasingoreliminatingpubliccrisisoftheenterpriseandcreatinggoodconditionsandopportunitiesforthedevelopmentofthecorporation.Thirdly,acorporationtakingcorporateresponsibilitycansetagoodimageforthecorporationandcontributetothedevelopmentofthecorporation.Thereisnodenyingthatthepublicusuallyholdspecialgoodimpressiontowardsthosecorporationswhichpositivelytakesocialresponsibilitiesandmakecontributionstothesociety.3.TheinfluenceofcorporatesocialresponsibilityonvitalityofenterprisesThevitalityofanenterprisesreferstotheabilitythatacorporationreachesitsprofitgoalsandgainsdevelopmentincomplicatedmarketenvironment.Thethreeimportantelementsforthevitalityofenterprisesarestrainforce,innovationandcompetitiveforceintheopenandcomplicatedmarketenvironment.Theinternalstakeholdersaremainlyemployeesandshareholders.“Whendealingwiththerelationshipbetweenitsemployee
