I.J.EducationandManagementEngineering2012,6,1-6PublishedOnlineJuly2012inMECS()DOI:10.5815/ijeme.2012.06.01Availableonlineat:digitalCampus2.0;networktechnology;digitalteachingplatform©2012PublishedbyMECSPublisher.Selectionand/orpeerreviewunderresponsibilityoftheInternationalConferenceonE-BusinessSystemandEducationTechnology1.IntroductionWiththespreadandpopularizationofinformationtechnology,LANisestablishedandalotofMISisdevelopedfordailymanagement.Withthedevelopmentofeducationalinformationization,theconstructionandeffectiveuseofdigitalteachingplatformattractseducators’attentionmoreandmore.Facingalargenumberofinformationresources,howtounderstandtheconceptofanewconstructionandapplicationofresources,howtoconstructandapplyresourcesinnewideasandmethods,howtocontinuereformingandinnovation,howtoseekabreakthroughandanewgrowthpointtocatchthetideofeducationalinformationizationandmeettheneedsofthetimes[1].Fosteringcompoundtalentswithinformationliteracyandahighercapacityofinnovationisoururgentproblems.InresponsetotheconstructionofthedigitalteachingplatformofHeilongjiangInstituteofScienceandTechnology,thispaperdiscussestheconstructionofdigitalteachingplatform.2.MainproblemsTheconstructionofdigitalteachingenvironmenthasbeencarriedoutbymanycollegesanduniversitiesCorrespondingauthor:E-mailaddress:awangjiancai1@eyou.com2DiscussiononDomesticUniversitiesConstructionofDigitalTeachingPlatformconsciouslyornot.Astheinfrastructureofeducationalinformationization,thedigitalteachingenvironmenthasnotbeenpaidenoughattention.Therearemanyproblemstobesolved,includinglackofawareness,theimbalanceofdigitalqualitybetweenteachersandstudentsanddeficiencyofresourcesintegration,etc.Ononehand,manycollegesanduniversitiesassumeeducationalinformationizationhasalongwaytogo.Theydonottakedigitalteachingenvironmentasarealistictask,withlackoftheimportanceandemergencyofdigitalteachingenvironment.Ontheotherhand,someuniversitiesareblindtofollowupintheprocessofdigitalconstruction.Withoutanoverallschemeandcriteriaofconstruction,theequipmentpurchaseiswastedandtheconstructionofsoftwareenvironmentisneglected,especiallyhumanfactors.Itcausesgreatwasteandaffectstheoverallprocessoftheconstruction.Meanwhile,thereisasituationthatteachersarenotadaptabletotheenvironmentandstudentsarenotcompetentfordigitallearninginrealpractice.3.BasiccontentofdigitalteachingenvironmentWiththeapplicationofinformationtechnology,weareapproachingtheageof4A(ThatisAnyone,Anywhere,AnytimeonAnything)[2].However,theproblemsdiscussedabovesettheobstaclesforsharingandhighefficiencyofteachingresourceandcauseamazingwaste.Consideringthepossibilityof“informationisolatedisland”bymakingasoleteachingsystem,collegesanduniversitiesshouldreviewtheexperiencesandthinkovertheirowneducationalfeaturesfirst,andthenconstructan“integrateddigitalplatformforbothteachingandlearning.Adigitalteachingsystemaccessibletospreadoveriscreatedtopromotetheconstructionofdigitalteachingenvironmentoncampus.Meanwhile,weshouldenhancerelativeaspectsinhumanity,policyandsystemconstructionaswell.Itcanbeinterpretedasaportaltointegratetheapplicationandprovidehumanizationserviceforasingleaccesspoint;anevaluationresponsibleforevaluatingteachersandstudentswithintheteachingplatform;amanagement,whichmanagesteachersandstudentsintheoverallteachingenvironment;andNapplications,includingthecollection,processingandapplicationofinformationineachteachingsystem.Fig.1illustratesthecomposition.4.constructionschemeDrawingontheusefulexperiencesofourcollegeintheprocessofconstructingdigitalteachingplatform,theabovegoalscanbeachieved.Withthegoodexperiencesofouruniversity,theenvironmentconstructionincludesresourceconstruction,teamconstructionandmechanismconstruction.4.1ConstructionofDigitalEnvironmentDependingoncampusnetwork,theconstructionofdigitalenvironmentisthebaseofdigitalteachingplatform.Itcomprisesthefollowingcomponents:high-performanceserver,massivestoragesystemtechnology,securebackup,high-speednetworkswitches,dedicatedfirewall,coresystemsoftwareandanapplicationdevelopmentplatformfordatabase,portalsystem,authenticationsystemandmiddlewaresystem[3].Datacenterisaplatformforinformationprocessingt
