WomaninModernSocietyTillnow,inourmale-dominantsociety,anewerahasbeenunveiled,andmoreandmorefemaleshaveescapedtherestrictionoftheirfamiliesandthetraditionsthatwomenweredoomedtobehousewives.Femalepoliticians,femaleexecutivesandfemaleleadersinincreasingnumbersallprovethesituationthatwomanandmanaregraduallybeingofferedthesameopportunitiesaswellastherightsinkedintheConstitution.Tobefrank,however,theredoexistthebiastowardswomeninsomefields.Someoccupationscannotbeappliedbyfemales.AndinsomecountriesinMiddleEast,womenarenotallowedtorevealtheirfacestoanymaleexcepttheirhusbands.Furthermore,insomecultures,femalesarestillnotexpectedtoworkoutforapaidjob.However,thegeneraltrendisinevitablethatwomanisplayingamoreandmorecrucialroleinmodernsocietydespitethefactthatthereisbiasandprejudicetowardsthem.AsfarasI’mconcerned,Istronglyadvocatetheequalrightsofwomenandwarmlywelcomethenewrolesmodernfemalesareplaying.Everyoneisgrantedwiththerighttopursuetheirdreams,andsoiseverywomanonearth.Womanshouldliveuptotheirdreamsinsteadofonlybeingtheattachmentofman.Anditischeerfultoseethepowerofwomanrisingineveryfieldinmodernsociety.WomaninModernSocietyAswecanseeintoday’smodernsociety,thestatusofcontemporarywomanhasbeenenormouslyenhanced.Discardingthetraditionalperceptionthatwomenweredoomedtobeall-the-waybenignhousewives,womennowadayshaveregainedtheirrightstotakechargeoftheirowndestinies.Comparedwiththeolddayswhentheonlythingtheycoulddowastokeepthefamilyinorderbydoingthecooking,washingandnurturing,nownearlyeverywhereyoucanseetheirfiguresactivelyengagedinvastnumbersofprofessions.However,itcannotbedeniedthattherestillexistssomesortofdiscriminationtowardswomen.Ononehand,somepeople,especiallytheconservativeold,sticktotheold-fashionedethicthatwomenshouldaccomplishtheirmissionathome.Ontheotherhand,daybyday,menaredisturbedbyastrongsenseofpeerpressurecausedbywomen,duetothefactthatwomenaretakingupthestatusmenusedtotakeforgranted.Hence,theyhavecomplicatedfeelingsaboutwomenrisingabovetheirlimitations.Frommystandpointofview,menandwomenoughttoberegardedequallytocreateapeacefulsocietyhandinhand.Physicallyspeaking,womenareweakerthanmen,butthatdoesnotmeantheyarelackingintheabilitytoexcelinotherareas.Sometimes,itturnsouttobejusttheopposite.Toforgeaharmonioussociety,notonlythegovernmentshouldadvocateequalitybetweenmenandwomen,butalsothepublichavetoaltertheirmindsettoadapttotheconstantlychangingworld.
