MATERIALSSECTIONIIDESIGNANDCONSTRUCTIONRULESFORMECHANICALCOMPONENTSOFPWRNUCLEARISLANDSRCC-MRCC-MRCC-M-Edition2007M100M100GENERALPROVISIONSM110GENERALORGANIZATIONANDSCOPEOFSECTIONIISECTIONIIisbasicallydividedintotwoparts:-chaptersM200andM300covergeneralprovisionsapplicableto,firstly,steelandalloysandsecondly,partsandproducts,-specificationsprovidingtherequirementsforprocurementofagivenpartorproduct.Whenapartorproductiscoveredbyaprocurementspecification,therequirementsgiveninchaptersM200andM300shallbeapplicable,unlessspecialprovisionsarecontainedinthisspecification.Chapters2000entitledMATERIALSinthesubsectionsofSECTIONI,whichmaybesupplementedbyrequirementsgivenintheequipmentspecification,specifyhowtherequirementsofSECTIONIIaretobeappliedtocomponentssubjecttotheRCC-M.Thesechaptersspecifywhetherapartofproductprocurementspecificationisapplicableorwhetherthegeneralprovisionsonlyareapplicable.M111TECHNICALREQUIREMENTSSPECIFIEDINTHEPURCHASEORDERM111.1GeneralcasePurchaseordersforfoundryproducts(bars,plate,forgings,castings,pipesandtubes)must:-refertoapartorproductprocurementspecificationorwherethereisnoprocurementspecificationtoaspecialprocurementspecification,-includeatechnicalappendixprovidingthefollowingsupplementaryinformation:.quantityordered,.formoftheproduct,.nominaldimensions,.tolerancesforsizeorweight,©n°113-2007M000/1RCC-M-Edition2007M100.grade,.whennecessary,requirementsspecificallystipulatedbytheprocurementspecificationorthestandard.-include,ifnecessary,asecondannexconsistingofthespecialprocurementspecification.M111.2ProcurementofproductsfromRCC-MstocksItispermissibleforstocksofproductsprocuredinaccordancewiththeRCC-MtobebuiltupandforcomponentManufacturer'stoprocuresuppliesfromthesestocksaccordingtotheirneeds.Thisprovisionisonlyapplicabletoproductscoveredbyaproductprocurementspecification.ThecompanyaccumulatingthestockshallmanufacturehisproductsinaccordancewiththeapplicableprocurementspecificationsandshallapplytheprovisionsofM111.1whenprocessingpurchaseorders.Thecompanyshalldisposeofastockmanagementsystemenablingittoprovidecustomerswithareproductionofrecordscorrespondingtotheprocurementofproductsfromstock,andindicatingtheeditionoftheRCC-Mapplied(seeA2300foradefinitionofthisedition).CompaniesbuildingupsuchstocksshalladvisetheContractoroftheircomposition(typeofproducts,availableforms).ThedutiesofSurveillanceAgentsresponsibleforthesurveillanceofthesestocksshallbecontractuallydefinedbyothermeans,asalreadystatedinA2160.M111.3ProcurementofsmallquantitiesofproductsWhenaproductisnotavailableintheRCC-Mstock,theManufacturermay,onanexceptionalbasis,procuresmallquantitiesofproductsinaccordancewithFrenchorforeignstandards,exceptthosesubjecttoM140,M160orM170.Beforeusingtheproduct,theManufacturershalldrawuparecordindicatingconformitywiththetechnicalrequirementsofthepurchaseorder,comprising:-detailsofwhatisnotavailableintheRCC-Mstock,-referencetothedesignatedstandardwithitsdateofedition,-grade(standarddesignation)-typeofproducts(tube,plate,bars,etc.),-quantitiesofproductstobeprocured,-resultsoftestsperformedinaccordancewiththedesignatedstandardandwiththepurchaseorder,-resultsofadditionaltestsnotindicatedinthestandardbutrequiredbytheorder,-theacceptancecertificate,theindicationsofwhichcorrespondatleasttothoserequiredinthetype3.1specificinspectioncertificateaccordingtostandardNFEN10204.ThisproductshallnotbeuseduntiltheContractor'srepresentativehasapprovedthisrecord.Anychangeofgrade,typeofproduct,samplingmethod(localisation,orientation)ornondestructiveexaminationprocedurerequiresanequivalencefiletobedrawnupandsubjectedtotheContractor'sapproval.M000/2©n°113-2007RCC-M-Edition2007M100M112PROCUREMENTSPECIFICATIONSPartprocurementspecificationsproviderequirementsapplicabletotheprocurementofagivenpartforaspecificitemofequipment.Thereisalimitednumberofspecificationsofthistypeandtheyarealsousedtospecifythewayinwhichthesepartsmustbemanufactured.ProductprocurementspecificationsproviderequirementsfortheprocurementofproductswithinthelimitsspecifiedatthebeginningofthespecificationintheparagraphentitledSCOPE.Productprocurementspecificationsareapplicabletovariousitemsofequipment.Fortheprocurementofpartscoveredbyapartprocurementspecification,theManufacturermustrefertothepartprocurementspecificationandnottoaproductprocurementspecificationwhosescopemayalsoincludetheseparts.M113NEWMETHODSOFMANUFACTURINGPARTS,NEWMATERIALS:QUALIFICATIONIfanewmethodofmanufacturingapartisenvisaged,anewpartprocurementspecificationmustbedrawnuppriortoutilizationofthenewmethod.ThisspecificationshallbedrawnupjointlybytheManufacturerandAFCEN.ThenewspecificationshallbeincludedintheRCC-M.Thesameprocedureshallapplytotheinclusionofnewmaterialgradesinproductorpartprocurementspecifications.Whennewspecificationsaredrawnup,aqualificationreportincompliancewithM140mustbeestablishedforthematerials.FortheprocurementofpartsandproductssubjectonlytothegeneralprovisionsofchaptersM200andM300inaccordancewiththerequirementsofchapters2000ofthesubsectionsofSECTIONI,theManufacturershallgen
